Terms and license
These terms cover your purchase and use of AppFactory, a locally installed MCP server and command line tool ("the Software"). AppFactory is made by Batuhan Ünverdi, Türkiye ("we"). By buying or installing the Software you agree to them.
Who sells it
Orders are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, taxes, invoices and refunds. Polar's own terms apply to the payment itself.
Your license
- One purchase gives one person a perpetual, non exclusive, non transferable license to install and use the Software on up to 3 computers they use at the same time. A seat moves to a new computer with
appfactory deactivate. - You may use the Software for personal and commercial work, for yourself or for clients, with no limit on the number of apps.
- Everything the Software generates for you (app code, designs, metadata, screenshots, backend code and documents) belongs to you. We claim no rights in it and take no share of its revenue.
- You may not resell, share, publish, sublicense or redistribute the Software or your license key, offer it as a hosted service to others, or remove or work around the license check.
Updates and support
Your purchase includes the updates we release, delivered through your Polar account, and email support at support@appfactory.uk. We aim to answer within two business days. Updates may change or remove features.
License check
The Software validates your license with Polar about once a week. If it cannot reach Polar it keeps working for 30 days. A refunded, revoked or shared key stops working.
Your accounts and third party services
The Software works with services you choose and pay for yourself, such as Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase, GitHub and AI providers, under your own accounts and their terms. You are responsible for your apps, for what you submit to Apple and for any fees those services charge. Several steps that spend money or publish something wait for your explicit approval; read what you approve.
No warranty
The Software is provided "as is". We do not promise that an app built with it will be accepted by Apple, will earn money or will be free of defects. Templates for legal pages and store text are starting points, not legal advice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or rejected submissions. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Refunds
The Software is delivered in full at purchase, so sales are final. The refund policy lists the cases where we still refund.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to new purchases and updates. These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Questions: support@appfactory.uk.
